Today’s Rant: Learning to Trust Your Gut Instincts
I’ve learned over the years to listen more carefully to my gut instincts and this rant addresses my unwillingness or inability to pay attention. That’s the trust part of the equation. Even though these instinctive “knowings” were always there, I simply wasn’t always willing to listen.
It’s funny how we humans can justify anything….. truly ANYTHING. Whether we use God (God told me to….) or guilt (if I don’t do this….), we’ll find a way to make the choice seem right and then suffer the consequences of that choice later. Sometimes it turns out ok. Other times, not so much. But either way, there are consequences!
